Connecting with HISD Families

Houston ISD is expanding its reach and redefining how it connects with families through HISD NOW, the District’s daily news platform delivering updates in English and Spanish. With more than 95,000 YouTube subscribers and new content produced every day, HISD NOW is one of three communication media the District uses to provide up-to-date and accurate information to employees, parents, and stakeholders. 

Also, through ParentSquare, the District’s official messaging platform, HISD NOW reaches more than 100,000 families each week, and the District’s website generates 1.6 million views per month. Our goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers within the next month.
